Requirements
- Strong experience operating complex cloud applications in production.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Solid understanding of Linux and networking basics for troubleshooting.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, specifically Terraform.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog or Grafana.
- Familiarity with security concepts.
- Willingness to participate in a shared 24/7 on-call rotation.
- Ability to translate operational requirements into technical specifications.
- Fluency in both German and English (spoken and written).
Responsibilities
- Perform software updates, patches, and bug fixes in cloud, on-premise, and OT customer environments.
- Maintain stable and secure daily operations of customer systems.
- Contribute to 24/7 operations by participating in on-call rotations and managing incident responses.
- Support customers during rollouts, upgrades, and incidents, including outside regular business hours.
- Collaborate directly with customers to understand their infrastructure and define appropriate operational models.
- Analyze operational issues and coordinate troubleshooting with development, SRE, and security teams.
- Document customer-specific setups, operational processes, and deployment procedures.
- Standardize and improve deployment and operational processes across customers.
