Requirements
- Proven production operations experience with Envoy.
- Strong Kubernetes administration experience.
- Experience with High Availability platforms.
- Experience with Kubernetes networking.
- Experience with Ingress/Gateway solutions.
- Experience with TLS and certificate management.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with GitOps workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the Envoy platform in production.
- Monitor platform health, performance, and availability.
- Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Manage upgrades, security patches, and configuration changes.
- Support onboarding of new services and APIs.
- Optimize Envoy performance and scalability.
- Maintain observability dashboards and alerting.
- Participate in incident response and problem management.
- Produce operational documentation and runbooks.
- Provide advisory services regarding best practices and future platform improvements.
