Requirements
- Advanced Python proficiency with a track record of owning features end to end.
- Full-stack capability, including back-end services and modern front-end development (e.g., React, Vue).
- Solid working knowledge of SQL and data workflow design.
- Hands-on experience deploying applications and ML models in the cloud (AWS preferred).
- Proficiency with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong grasp of computer science principles, data structures, and CI/CD workflows.
- Excellent grasp of object-oriented and functional design principles.
- Proven experience designing and integrating APIs (REST, gRPC).
- Experience setting technical patterns, leading cross-cutting design, and mentoring others.
- Full professional fluency in English.
- MSc or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and ship features spanning back-end services and front-end interfaces for B2B biology products.
- Take features from idea to production and own them in operation, balancing speed with quality.
- Design and maintain robust, scalable services and APIs (REST, gRPC) to compose models into product capabilities.
- Build data workflows using Python and SQL.
- Build product on top of internal SDKs and model packages.
- Set engineering patterns and standards, lead technical design, and mentor other engineers.
- Utilize agentic coding tools to accelerate delivery and adopt AI-native workflows.
- Collaborate with Product Engineers and platform/infra engineers to align builds with customer needs.
