Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience building backend services.
- Real-world experience building complex distributed systems.
- Proven experience leading large-scale, complicated projects on an architectural level.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including concurrency, algorithms, and data structures.
- Experience building resilient services capable of handling varying work volumes.
- Commitment to code quality, test infrastructure, and deterministic testing cultures.
- Ability to collaborate and mentor team members in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Go is highly relevant, though experience with other languages is acceptable.
- Bonus: Experience with GraphQL API design and implementation.
- Bonus: Experience with gRPC API design and implementation.
- Bonus: Background in the finance or wealth management industry.
Responsibilities
- Participate in task breakdown, estimation, design, implementation, and maintenance of Wealth systems.
- Write, review, test, and document code according to engineering and team standards.
- Drive down technical complexity and safely refactor existing systems.
- Lead large, strategic, ambiguous, and complex projects by breaking them down into smaller pieces.
- Define the technical strategy of the team and influence the product roadmap.
- Mentor and guide team members within the area of specialization.
