Requirements
- Experience in technical writing and documentation for APIs and products (2+ years)
- Proficiency with API tooling specification and related tools
- Strong knowledge of YAML, JSON, and Markdown
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and documentation-as-code practices
- Familiarity with REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and web services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Native English
- Experience with developer portals and API documentation platforms
- Computer Science studies or technical background (nice to have)
- Knowledge of B2B software, EDI concepts, or integration patterns (nice to have)
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows and documentation automation (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of connect.ecosio.com knowledge hub for partners, customers & users
- Create and maintain API specifications and reference documentation
- Design and implement documentation-as-code workflows using Git, YAML, and Markdown
- Develop interactive API documentation with modern documentation tools
- Write clear, technically accurate product guides, tutorials, and code samples
- Collaborate with product, marketing and engineering teams to understand API design and implementation details
- Establish documentation standards and style guides for API documentation
- Implement automated documentation testing and validation processes
