Requirements
- At least five years of experience working as a sterile processor.
- Current CRCST certification through HSPA.
- Prior teaching, training, or precepting experience in sterile processing.
- Experience teaching in online or hybrid environments.
- Ability to explain complex sterilization and infection prevention concepts to beginners.
- Excellent computer skills and reliable internet connection.
- Ability to work independently and adhere to a set lecture schedule.
- Strong student empathy and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain 24-hour response times to company emails.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate 60-minute, large-group review sessions for 20-30 students aligned to curriculum and CRCST focus areas.
- Deliver lectures twice weekly to accommodate various time zones.
- Collaborate with the learning team to develop and modify session agendas and lecture decks.
- Create engaging content, including gamified approaches using tools like Kahoot.
- Conduct tool demonstrations as required.
- Support student preparation for the CRCST exam through dedicated review sessions.
- Respond to student questions via email within 24-48 business hours.
