Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required; Advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, PhD) preferred.
  • 12-15 years of biopharma industry experience.
  • 8-12+ years of prior experience leading an oncology sales team.
  • Proven track record leading product launches, ideally in NSCLC oncology.
  • Experience launching oncology products with companion diagnostics.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling sales teams from inception.
  • Experience in small to midsize biotech space.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% for meetings, training, and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, lead, and develop a team of 8 Sales Representatives to exceed quarterly performance targets.
  • Design and implement area-specific sales strategies aligned with brand objectives.
  • Manage key business relationships with major health systems, practice networks, and GPOs.
  • Analyze sales data to build launch plans and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, commercial training, and cross-functional partners.
  • Ensure sales activities comply with corporate policies and ethical standards.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to sales staff to drive performance and talent development.
