Requirements
- BA/BS degree required; MA/MS or advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, PhD) preferred.
- 12-15 years of biopharma industry experience.
- 8-12+ years of prior experience leading an oncology sales team.
- Proven track record of success leading product launches, ideally in NSCLC oncology therapeutic space.
- Experience launching oncology products with companion diagnostics.
- Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling sales teams from inception.
- Experience in small to midsize biotech space.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel ~50% for meetings, training, and programs.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft suite including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and develop a best-in-class sales team while cultivating a culture of exceptional performance and accountability.
- Design and implement Area-specific sales strategies aligned with brand objectives and market insights.
- Set clear goals, provide tailored coaching, and recognize successful team behaviors.
- Lead the development of quarterly business plans and skill-building initiatives for sales staff.
- Act as a conduit for market information between field-based employees and home office leadership.
- Oversee relationships with key Area-level healthcare accounts, including major health systems and practice networks.
- Manage all resources within budget and ensure compliance with corporate policies and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with brand marketing and commercial training teams to drive optimal outcomes.
