Requirements

  • Experience managing people.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service for a technical product.
  • Experience managing teams working with Commercial accounts.
  • Excellent spoken and written English proficiency.
  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
  • Understanding of B2B software, Open Source software, and the developer product space.
  • Ability to learn how to use GitLab and Git.
  • Alignment with GitLab values.

Responsibilities

  • Train BDR Team members to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities.
  • Ensure BDR performance improvement through recurring weekly 1:1 coaching and feedback.
  • Plan for the hiring and onboarding of new BDR team members.
  • Collaborate with Events and Digital teams on field events and targeted ad/nurture campaigns.
  • Work with Sales Development Leadership and Operations to refine opportunity management and qualification processes.
  • Partner with Regional Sales VPs, Directors, and Area Managers to identify and develop key company accounts.
  • Collaborate with Content, Marketing, and Product Marketing teams to develop effective outbound messaging.
