Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 8+ years of experience in software agile delivery and working with sprint teams.
  • 5+ years of experience as a product owner, business analyst, or product analyst.
  • 3+ years of experience with healthcare IT programs, specifically Medicare Advantage (Part C) and Prescription Drug (Part D) programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug plan structures, benefit designs, and enrollment processes.
  • Experience with Agile collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes and develop business process models.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills for documenting complex problems.
  • Demonstrated ability in creative and critical thinking to evaluate alternatives.
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is preferred.
  • Relevant agile certifications (e.g., PMI-ACP, CPM, CPO, CSM, PSM, SAFe POPM) are preferred.
  • Experience with public-facing civic tech projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Work with multi-functional teams to develop and enhance products on a daily basis.
  • Follow Agile methodology to deliver incremental software with an end-to-end user experience focus.
  • Act as an expert in client regulations, policies, and systems.
  • Capture product requirements as user stories with robust acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct policy analysis to develop and adapt business requirements.
  • Lead product analysis sessions, work group calls, user research, and usability testing.
  • Collaborate with the sprint team to implement and accept user stories.
  • Oversee quality assurance activities and develop documentation including SOPs and metrics.
  • Develop Change Requests to monitor and control product vision.
