Requirements
- 2+ years of experience hitting or exceeding large sales quotas in the K-12 EdTech space.
- Proven experience with high-volume district sales and building a book of business from scratch.
- Strategic territory management experience with the executive presence to lead consultative district conversations.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate multiple stakeholders and engineer tailored solutions.
- Ability to travel approximately 25% for in-person customer meetings.
- Experience using AI tools to drive efficiency and productivity.
- Ability to work flexible hours to support accounts in Eastern and Central time zones.
- Self-starter, highly organized, and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Own your territory and manage the entire lifecycle of a sale.
- Develop territory business plans, evaluate funding landscapes, and tailor sales strategies to district initiatives.
- Meet in-person with school and district leaders to present solutions, negotiate terms, and secure agreements.
- Build new business relationships to bring Newsela solutions into classrooms.
- Achieve individual revenue targets while collaborating with a cross-functional team.
- Manage pipeline, forecasting, and lead generation campaigns independently.
