Requirements
- Significant experience designing financial, data-dense, policy-driven, or otherwise complex software products.
- Portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft, strong product thinking, and measurable impact.
- Ability to use quantitative data to sharpen design judgment.
- Experience partnering closely with Research, Analytics, Product Management, and Engineering.
- Strong communication skills for articulating design rationale.
- Pragmatic approach to balancing quality, speed, and technical reality.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and defining complex problems.
- Experience building products for multiple international markets.
- Ability to work in English.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design for key surfaces within your team’s area, such as money movement or policy configuration.
- Shape the design strategy for your area based on first principles, customer insight, and product strategy.
- Partner with Data and Research to define success, instrument your work, and learn from results.
- Drive feature adoption through thoughtful introduction patterns.
- Use and contribute to Pleo’s design system, Telescope.
- Integrate content and localisation thinking into designs to work across markets and regulatory contexts.
- Raise the quality bar through critique, documentation, and mentoring.
