- Current admission to the California State Bar.
- 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
- At least one year of experience defending tort claims.
- Proficiency in preparing pleadings and motions.
- Experience propounding and responding to discovery.
- Experience taking and defending depositions.
- Experience with court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Strong communication and advocacy skills.
- Client-focused mindset.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively with team members.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs.
- Propound and respond to discovery requests.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
- Appear in court to argue motions and attend mediations and arbitrations.
