Requirements

  • Available to volunteer 12-15 hours a week.
  • Based in the USA.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and workplace policies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
  • Commitment to a longer-term volunteer opportunity (12+ months preferred).
  • Identify as female per organization BFOQ policy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to onboarding and offboarding coordinators and team members.
  • Collaborate with HR Talent Acquisition leadership to improve and streamline onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Oversee daily department operations, ensure timely completion of documentation and tasks, and coordinate with managers across departments.
  • Partner with HR on best practices, global initiatives, volunteer offboarding, and performance feedback.
  • Attend monthly team meetings and complete additional duties as assigned.
