Requirements
- Degree in Mechatronics or Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial) or associate degree with equivalent injection molding experience.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in the plastics market, specifically injection molding, tooling, or related equipment.
- Prior experience in technical sales or customer-facing roles.
- Knowledge of injection molding processes, production, equipment, SMED, and quick-mold-change.
- High proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 50-75% of the time.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Strategic Sales training.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Execute market strategy for plastics machinery sales and revenue growth.
- Manage CRM data, including company segments, contacts, and sales activity.
- Identify and build relationships with target personas across machine makers.
- Develop and maintain commercial and logistical offerings for quick-mold-change systems.
- Conduct onsite visits to machine makers to analyze needs, present solutions, and uncover projects.
- Coordinate joint marketing activities, trade shows, and sales training.
- Prepare annual budget roadmaps and monthly progress reports.
- Maintain a schedule of approximately 10 site visits per month.
