Requirements

  • Degree in Mechatronics or Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial) or associate degree with equivalent injection molding experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in the plastics market, specifically injection molding, tooling, or related equipment.
  • Prior experience in technical sales or customer-facing roles.
  • Knowledge of injection molding processes, production, equipment, SMED, and quick-mold-change.
  • High proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 50-75% of the time.
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
  • Strategic Sales training.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Execute market strategy for plastics machinery sales and revenue growth.
  • Manage CRM data, including company segments, contacts, and sales activity.
  • Identify and build relationships with target personas across machine makers.
  • Develop and maintain commercial and logistical offerings for quick-mold-change systems.
  • Conduct onsite visits to machine makers to analyze needs, present solutions, and uncover projects.
  • Coordinate joint marketing activities, trade shows, and sales training.
  • Prepare annual budget roadmaps and monthly progress reports.
  • Maintain a schedule of approximately 10 site visits per month.
