Requirements
- 4–7 years of product management experience.
- At least 1–2 years of experience owning a technically complex domain.
- Strong understanding of payment processing, payouts, fee models, refunds/chargebacks, and reconciliation.
- Proven ability to work with engineers on backend and system design trade-offs.
- Experience shipping reliable platform capabilities.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, metric definition, and building measurement plans.
- Ability to turn ambiguity into executable plans.
- Clear written communication and structured thinking.
- Demonstrated ownership, discipline, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Own the Billing product area roadmap, outcomes, and prioritization, defining quarterly goals and success metrics.
- Partner with Engineering to deliver resilient billing systems focused on accuracy, idempotency, retries, and monitoring.
- Improve revenue protection and customer experience via dunning, failed payment recovery, refunds, and dispute management.
- Define and maintain billing domain documentation, including data models, event flows, and operational run-books.
- Run discovery with internal teams and customers to turn insights into clear PRDs and delivery plans.
- Establish and track core Billing KPIs, such as failed payment and recovery rates.
- Drive antifraud strategy execution and partner with Engineering and Data teams to implement real-time protections and monitoring.
