Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in sales and/or strategic business development roles.
- Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience.
- Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem and card issuing.
- Familiarity with the fintech ecosystem and B2B technology applications.
- Financial acumen sufficient to evaluate and model complex deal structures.
- Experience communicating technical and product benefits to C-suite and senior leadership.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter.
- Experience in payments, investment banking, or strategic consulting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and manage relationships with executives in B2B and consumer payments.
- Work with Product, Legal, Compliance and Delivery teams to define solutions.
- Originate new opportunities, respond to inbound leads, and shepherd deals through to contract.
- Identify, close and onboard enterprise customers alongside the team Director.
- Manage sales documentation in Salesforce, including reporting and financial modeling.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospect vetting and proposals.
- Partner with internal SMEs to develop and sell the partnership vision.
