Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
- Prior experience at a public company or leading accounting through IPO preparation and execution strongly preferred.
- Deep expertise in revenue accounting for SaaS businesses.
- Experience leading accounting at companies with multiple currencies, international legal entities, and active M&A.
- Experience leading SOX implementation and operating in a public-company-ready control environment.
- Proven people leader with experience building and scaling high-performing teams.
- Strong technical accounting foundation with the ability to balance detail with strategic thinking.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and executive presence.
- Fluent in English (speak and write).
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and scale the multi-regional Accounting, Revenue Accounting, Payroll, and Billing/Collections teams.
- Design and execute the accounting roadmap required for public company standards and IPO readiness.
- Champion the enterprise risk framework, insurance renewals, international statutory compliance, and banking relationships.
- Own key relationships with external auditors, banking partners, and tax authorities.
- Drive SOX compliance, internal controls, audit preparedness, and process documentation for SEC reporting requirements.
- Manage global tax structure, including transfer pricing, intercompany agreements, and VAT/GST compliance.
- Oversee revenue accounting processes including ASC 606 and contract reviews.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of accounting systems and tools as the company scales.
