Requirements
- Five or more years of direct, hands-on experience managing corporate or internal events.
- Specific experience executing large-scale, multi-day gatherings with international attendees.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex logistics, multiple vendors, and senior stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills and proficiency in tools like Asana.
- Proven experience in event budget management, tracking actuals, and spend reporting.
- Ability to work in a remote or distributed environment.
- Strong judgment regarding event logistics, room setups, and session engagement.
- Comfort working in ambiguity and iterating quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear, action-oriented communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end logistics for the Camunda Kickoff including venue sourcing, contract negotiation, travel, AV, and on-site execution.
- Partner with the CEO, CPO, and functional leaders to shape event agendas and ensure they reflect company priorities.
- Manage external vendors, event budgets, and clear reporting on spend.
- Curate content and collaborate with presenters on narrative and flow to ensure session quality.
- Design and execute year-round culture and connection programming such as milestones and recognition events.
- Maintain an internal events playbook and establish scalable planning processes.
- Track event effectiveness through metrics including attendance, engagement, and feedback.
