Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Meaningful depth in platform, infrastructure, or developer tooling.
- Experience building shared systems that other engineers depend on.
- Hands-on experience with production AI systems (LLM integrations, tool-using agents, retrieval pipelines).
- Strong instincts for API and abstraction design.
- Familiarity with MCP or similar tool-use and integration patterns.
- Track record of scoping and delivering greenfield technical work.
- Ability to lead cross-functional alignment without formal authority.
- Experience defining and rolling out engineering standards (nice to have).
- Experience with multi-agent orchestration frameworks (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Design and own core AI infrastructure including shared systems, integration patterns, and runtime environments.
- Build an operational layer for AI deployment covering logging, evals, cost tracking, latency monitoring, and feedback loops.
- Design and build an agent framework and skill library for automating workflows.
- Define interfaces, contracts, and composition patterns to enable teams to build agents and skills.
- Create internal tooling, documentation, and onboarding paths to make the AI platform accessible.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to identify AI-driven workflow improvements and cross-functional opportunities.
- Establish standards for AI safety, reliability, and quality across the organization.
