Requirements
- Proven experience leading finance through real scale and building shareholder value.
- Deep international, multi-entity, and multi-currency finance experience.
- Command of US indirect tax, EU VAT, and Australian GST.
- Recognized accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or locally accredited CPA).
- Strong proficiency in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.
- Proactive communication, high ownership, and autonomy in a remote environment.
- Experience with SaaS-enabled marketplace forecasting (transactional GBV and recurring revenue) preferred.
- Experience in travel, hospitality, or proptech sectors preferred.
- Experience building a finance function from founder-run to institutional-grade preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own capital deployment strategy and make internal/external cases for growth investments.
- Provide leadership with financial clarity for profitable operational scaling.
- Build the long-term value of the business and prepare for liquidity opportunities.
- Act as the primary financial representative for investors, banks, partners, and auditors.
- Build, hire, and lead a lean, AI-leveraged finance organization.
- Establish standards for finance operations and business partnership.
