Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as post-sales consulting, technical architecture, or solution delivery.
- Expertise with at least one modern cloud data platform (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift).
- Hands-on experience deploying or configuring dbt Cloud, with at least 1 year working with dbt.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Working knowledge of Python in analytics contexts.
- Experience managing technical project delivery, scope, and timelines across multiple engagements.
- Clear, concise communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
- Collaborative mindset for remote, cross-functional environments.
- Willingness to travel 2–4 times per year.
Responsibilities
- Support strategic pre-sales opportunities by providing technical expertise to prospects.
- Assist in launching and onboarding new customers to ensure successful dbt Cloud adoption.
- Execute proactive adoption plays, including migrations and new feature implementations (e.g., Semantic Layer, Mesh).
- Lead reactive adoption initiatives to de-risk churn and position accounts for growth.
- Advise on architecture, design, implementation, and best practices in dbt Cloud environments.
- Build solution MVPs and guide long-term technical strategies.
- Partner cross-functionally with CSAs, Sales, Training, and Product teams.
