Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in operations within a clinical, healthcare, or mental health setting, ideally in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
- Proven experience managing and developing teams, including direct oversight of operational or clinical support staff.
- Background in case management, clinical coordination, or healthcare operations strongly preferred.
- Clinical training (e.g., Master of Social Work, Nursing, or related field) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify issues, and translate insights into operational improvements.
- Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to independently solve complex operational challenges.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across clinical, operational, and executive audiences.
- Strong project management capabilities with a focus on execution, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Passion for improving mental health services through a combination of human-centered care and technology-enabled solutions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a clinical operations team of 6+ members responsible for supporting mental health evaluations, case coordination, and patient support workflows.
- Act as the primary operational liaison between clinical staff, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure smooth day-to-day coordination.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency of service delivery.
- Establish and monitor quality assurance metrics, SLAs, and performance indicators to ensure adherence to clinical and operational standards.
- Manage escalated patient or case issues, ensuring timely resolution and proactive follow-up on complex or sensitive situations.
- Analyze operational and clinical data to identify trends, optimize capacity planning, and inform strategic decision-making.
- Support workforce planning, including headcount forecasting and resource allocation based on evolving program needs.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and 1:1s to drive performance management, professional development, and team alignment.
- Collaborate with internal and external behavioral health stakeholders, representing the organization in key operational discussions.
