Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in fintech or banking, specifically in emerging markets.
- Hands-on experience developing ML scoring models for text, speech, behavioral analytics, and dynamic modeling.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, modeling, and automation.
- Proven expertise in machine learning techniques, including regression, classification, boosting, graph models, neural networks, NLP, and LLMs.
- Solid understanding and practical implementation of AI concepts and systems.
- Familiarity with MLOps including data pipelines, model deployment, and productionizing solutions.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, AWS highly preferred.
- Proficiency with BI and data visualization tools like PowerBI, Excel, Tableau, or Grafana.
- Prior exposure to risk management or analytics, particularly in the cards or payments space.
- Strong grasp of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in spoken English.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a high-performing Decision Science team, including recruitment, training, and performance improvement.
- Develop advanced ML models (ensembles, AI algorithms) for credit, fraud, marketing, collections, and dynamic pricing.
- Manage stakeholder expectations by communicating with risk, collections, and other business units to align on model priorities.
- Oversee the full ML model lifecycle from identification to deployment, production testing, and stability monitoring.
- Manage the environment, processes, and tools, including Git, Jira, and Confluence, following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Collaborate with the DWH team to ensure data quality, reliability, and support feature-store administration.
- Maintain project documentation and implement team standards for knowledge sharing.
