Requirements
- 5+ years of experience implementing security in Linux-based infrastructures, AWS, and code.
- Security certifications or equivalent real-world experience.
- Strong hacker mindset and ability to think like an attacker.
- Deep background across multiple facets of security.
- Comfortable working with open-source tooling, cloud environments, and multiple operating systems.
- Experience building security solutions that scale.
- Hands-on experience with at least one: penetration testing, threat modeling, code analysis, system hardening, distributed patching, or vulnerability scanning.
- Familiarity with hardening AI tooling to prevent security incidents.
- Strong communication skills for presenting to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Interest in cryptocurrency or cryptography is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Handle internal security requests and ensure least-privilege access across systems.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Oversee the MDM system and resolve alerts.
- Assess new technologies, tools, and third-party providers through a security lens.
- Triage vulnerabilities from pen testing, static analysis, and automated alerts.
- Automate security processes and alerts using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation for critical production security issues.
- Maintain security documentation and training materials.
- Ensure the software development lifecycle remains secure.
