Job Details

8+ years of engineering leadership experience, including building and scaling software or security engineering teams.
Strong background in security engineering, with hands-on understanding of system design, architecture, and implementation tradeoffs.
Experience delivering security features such as IAM, encryption, network security, or secure multi-tenancy in SaaS or cloud environments.
Deep familiarity with distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and modern infrastructure practices.
Demonstrated ability to build new functions or organizations from the ground up, including hiring, structuring, and operational design.
Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence product, engineering, and security leadership without formal authority.
Excellent prioritization, execution, and program management skills in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Build and scale a centralized security engineering function, starting from an existing team and expanding through strategic hiring.
Define operating models, delivery frameworks, and tracking systems for security engineering across multiple product lines.
Lead the design and implementation of critical security capabilities across cloud and platform services.
Drive cross-functional execution with product, infrastructure, and security stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery clarity.
Establish engineering standards, accountability mechanisms, and a strong culture of security-first execution.
Partner with security, GRC, and compliance teams to ensure engineering outputs meet regulatory and audit requirements.
Serve as the primary owner of security engineering delivery commitments and roadmap execution.
