Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in a healthcare setting involving medical terminology.
- Proven experience reviewing information for accuracy and completeness.
- Demonstrated ability to follow established processes and procedures.
- Associate's degree from an accredited institution preferred.
- Certification in medical billing and coding, medical assisting, or ICD-10 preferred.
- Experience with Canvas or another Learning Management System (LMS) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate faculty credentialing within 30 days of hire and maintain compliance with accreditation standards.
- Track and update faculty licensure to maintain accurate records.
- Identify at-risk learners and maintain contact lists to ensure faculty support.
- Audit faculty feedback and communications to meet regular and substantive interaction (RSI) standards.
- Monitor faculty activity, including grading turnaround, email response times, and webinar participation.
- Verify academic attendance for discussions, webinars, and clinical care activities.
- Audit final grades for accuracy across LMS and SIS platforms.
- Review proctored exam flags and provide recommendations to nursing leadership.
- Communicate grade changes to stakeholders based on grievances, remediation, or late work.
