Requirements
- PharmD degree.
- Active pharmacist licensure in at least one US state.
- 1–3 years of experience in managed care pharmacy, health plan, or PBM, or successful completion of a managed care/health-system PGY1/PGY2 residency.
- Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) in a professional context.
- Working knowledge of formulary management and prior authorization (PA) criteria development.
- Ability to read and interpret data dashboards and utilization reports.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex topics for non-clinical audiences.
- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Interpret formulary and clinical program performance data to identify trends and translate findings into actionable clinical recommendations.
- Actively incorporate AI tools into daily workflows for literature review, PA criteria drafting, and clinical documentation.
- Support the development, maintenance, and quality review of standard and custom formularies.
- Develop, update, and review prior authorization (PA) criteria against clinical evidence and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data, and Client Operations teams to support implementation and ongoing account management.
- Contribute to Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committee meetings with drug evaluations and literature summaries.
