Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive cybersecurity experience with increasing technical and strategic responsibility.
- Proven experience as a senior individual contributor or technical leader within a mid-sized enterprise.
- Strong expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and vulnerability management.
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms, Microsoft Security technologies, and Azure security architecture.
- Demonstrated experience developing cybersecurity policies, standards, governance processes, and operational procedures.
- Experience managing third-party cybersecurity vendors and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Defender, Intune, and Entra ID.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical risks to business recommendations.
- Proven ability to work independently, influence cross-functional teams, and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or Azure Security Engineer are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise cybersecurity operations across infrastructure, cloud, endpoints, identity, data, and third-party ecosystems.
- Partner with infrastructure and technology teams to enhance endpoint protection, vulnerability management, IAM, logging, monitoring, and incident response.
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Coordinate incident response activities, tabletop exercises, root cause analyses, and remediation planning.
- Conduct enterprise risk assessments, prioritize remediation, and establish security metrics and executive reporting.
- Support governance, risk, and compliance initiatives including vendor risk management, audits, and disaster recovery.
- Manage relationships with cybersecurity vendors and MSSPs to ensure service quality and outcomes.
- Evaluate emerging threats and provide technical leadership across Microsoft, Azure, and SaaS environments.
