Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a commercial or technical field.
- 5-10 years of successful sales or business development experience in advanced technology industries.
- Experience in electrical systems, solar/PV design, or related fields.
- Proven track record managing large, complex customers in matrix environments with long sales cycles.
- Strong understanding of utility grid operations, energy transmission, and the U.S. energy sector.
- Influential network of senior-level industry contacts.
- Solid knowledge of strategic and solutions selling.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote team structure.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage key accounts with a focus on utility-scale PV and BESS opportunities.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with IPPs, EPCs, developers, and utilities.
- Execute complex solutions selling approaches at the executive level to drive technology alignment.
- Develop strategic plans to maximize business capture and sales revenue.
- Drive monthly pipeline business forecasts and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Collaborate with internal sales, product management, and engineering teams to ensure technical alignment.
- Maintain accurate records of customer activity and pipeline in CRM systems.
