Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a commercial or technical field.
  • 5-10 years of successful sales or business development experience in advanced technology industries.
  • Experience in electrical systems, solar/PV design, or related fields.
  • Proven track record managing large, complex customers in matrix environments with long sales cycles.
  • Strong understanding of utility grid operations, energy transmission, and the U.S. energy sector.
  • Influential network of senior-level industry contacts.
  • Solid knowledge of strategic and solutions selling.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote team structure.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% domestically.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage key accounts with a focus on utility-scale PV and BESS opportunities.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with IPPs, EPCs, developers, and utilities.
  • Execute complex solutions selling approaches at the executive level to drive technology alignment.
  • Develop strategic plans to maximize business capture and sales revenue.
  • Drive monthly pipeline business forecasts and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with internal sales, product management, and engineering teams to ensure technical alignment.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer activity and pipeline in CRM systems.
