Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience running email and retention for DTC e-commerce brands.
  • Direct, hands-on experience at one or more 9-figure ($100M+ revenue) DTC brands.
  • Proven experience managing multiple brands or accounts simultaneously.
  • Experience directing designers and copywriters rather than solely executing work.
  • Deep, advanced expertise in Klaviyo, including flow logic, conditional splits, dynamic content, segmentation, and the data model.
  • Demonstrable track record of building revenue-generating flows and measuring lift.
  • Strong copy and creative judgment with the ability to write effective briefs and critique drafts.
  • Ability to own a revenue number and be held accountable for performance results.
  • Ability to answer specific application questions regarding past brand experience and results.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage full lifecycle strategy in Klaviyo including welcome, abandonment, post-purchase, winback, replenishment, VIP, and sunset flows.
  • Develop and manage the campaign calendar for multiple brands, including planning, briefing, and overseeing weekly and promotional sends.
  • Direct a team of designers and copywriters, reviewing their work and maintaining high quality standards.
  • Execute list growth and segmentation strategy using RFM-based segments and predictive analytics.
  • Create and manage an A/B testing roadmap for subject lines, creative, offers, and send timing with clear hypotheses.
  • Oversee email deliverability, including list hygiene, sender reputation, inbox placement, and warming.
  • Report on key metrics such as email/SMS revenue contribution, flow revenue, revenue per recipient, and LTV impact.
