Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or Analytics is preferred.
- Previous experience in an analyst role and/or in a pricing function is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Experience performing data extraction utilizing tools.
- Ability to understand business processing requirements using technology.
- Ability to conceptualize creative solutions to implement business requirements.
- Ability to work to deadlines and sustain high productivity levels.
Responsibilities
- Receive, analyze and process all incoming RFPs for cross border, domestic Canada and domestic USA business opportunities.
- Perform detailed costing analysis and develop pricing options to present to Sales team for customer negotiations.
- Assist in planning, developing, and evaluating pricing strategies at a macro and micro level in line with business strategy.
- Review performance data including financial, sales, and activity reports to monitor productivity and goal achievement.
- Support Business Development and Customer Service departments to identify and target new growth opportunities.
- Identify target markets and track market trends based on company competitiveness.
- Improve ongoing pricing processes.
- Respond to pricing inquiries and investigate/resolve pricing issues.
