Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience selling SaaS/Security solutions to State agencies.
- Deep understanding of public sector procurement vehicles (e.g., NASPO, NASCIO, NASTD, GSA Schedule 70, state-specific contracts).
- Knowledge of network performance and security, corporate networking, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, and SASE.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and capture diverse funding streams.
- Strong track record of executive relationship building with CIOs, CTOs, and Program Directors.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- High-energy, service-oriented work ethic and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to travel throughout the territory to support business needs.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute a clear plan to expand presence in government agencies.
- Generate a robust sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, and provide accurate forecasts.
- Lead and execute end-to-end sales cycles within the SLED market, managing multi-departmental buy-in and complex RFP/RFI processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver contract bids, proposals, RFQ responses, and Statements of Work.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term 'trusted advisor' relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and Program Directors across state and local agencies.
- Distill complex technical value propositions into compelling narratives for technical staff and non-technical elected officials.
