Requirements
- 5/8+ years of experience in data, analytics, or platform engineering.
- 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including hiring and performance management.
- Direct experience with modern data stacks, including cloud data warehouses and orchestration tools.
- Demonstrated expertise with Snowflake (preferred).
- Proven track record of delivering complex data platform initiatives like migrations or greenfield builds.
- Experience working in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments.
- Ability to review code, debug production issues, and make architectural judgments.
- Proficiency in engineering standards like CI/CD, GitOps, and testing.
- Demonstrated ability to balance delivery pressure with sustainable team health.
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and develop a team of data, analytics, and platform engineers.
- Manage sprint delivery, capacity planning, and engineering operations.
- Lead technical design reviews and enforce architectural standards.
- Establish engineering practices including CI/CD, testing, code review, and incident management.
- Act as the engineering interface to business units and manage external vendor relationships.
- Ensure production systems meet defined SLAs through effective monitoring and alerting.
