Requirements
- Lead-level experience in Python backend engineering (approximately 8+ years)
- Proven experience translating business processes into technical requirements or solution designs
- Experience in a consulting or client-facing delivery role
- Experience owning a roadmap and prioritizing competing initiatives by feasibility, ROI, and readiness
- Demonstrated stakeholder management with both technical teams and non-technical business leaders
- Experience working in structured, production environments
- Deep knowledge of LLMs and Agentic systems
- Fluent English (native or near-native level)
- Ability to contribute to architectural decisions across backend, data, and AI layers
- Ability to take end-to-end ownership of technical delivery with minimal oversight
Responsibilities
- Maintain and extend backend systems for an AI-powered research and analysis platform built on Python
- Build and optimize data ingestion pipelines that pull from external sources into the application layer
- Integrate LLMs and agents into existing backend workflows
- Collaborate closely with a small cross-functional team including frontend, DevOps, and full-stack engineers to ship features end-to-end
- Ensure backend services meet production standards for reliability, performance, and data integrity
