Requirements
- 5+ years in product management with senior or lead-level ownership.
- Proven experience building K-12 EdTech digital products used at scale by students and staff.
- Demonstrated fluency with AI prototyping (e.g., Claude) with a portfolio of built work.
- Experience performing independent customer discovery.
- Deep understanding of K-12 school calendars, procurement, and daily classroom realities.
- Knowledge of student and staff data privacy and compliance laws (FERPA, COPPA).
- Technical fluency to reason about data models, integrations, and reporting.
- Strong product judgment and ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent written communication and ability to work effectively in a remote startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Own product direction for student and staff experiences from validated problem statement through launch.
- Build functional interactive prototypes using AI tools like Claude for stakeholder review and design hand-off.
- Perform regular customer discovery by interviewing educators, district staff, and administrators.
- Prioritize the roadmap based on evidence and defend product decisions to stakeholders.
- Write PRDs and partner with engineering to stress-test feasibility and data requirements.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success on release readiness.
- Define and track key metrics for student and staff engagement and behavior change.
