Requirements
- 5+ years as the decision-making product manager on live software products.
- Experience running a product from post-launch through growth.
- Demonstrated evidence of independent judgment and ability to operate without a defined process.
- Strong writing ability to compress complex situations into clear documentation.
- Fluent with data, including ability to pull metrics and analyze findings.
- Experiment-minded approach to forming and testing hypotheses.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and maintaining a fast, weekly shipping rhythm.
- Calm, decisive, and opinionated nature while remaining evidence-driven.
- Passion for ensuring schools are safe and engaging places to learn.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day product direction across one or more products, including roadmap, prioritization, release decisions, and outcomes.
- Run beta and pilot programs end to end: recruit and manage pilot schools and districts, structure the feedback loops, and decide what graduates and what gets cut.
- Turn usage data, support themes, sales asks, and customer conversations into a ranked, defensible plan.
- Define metrics that track product performance and instrument missing data collection.
- Ship on a weekly cadence with a senior engineering team and a design partner using crisp written specs and decision memos.
- Partner with go-to-market teams at key gates like pricing tests and launch readiness while protecting early-stage work.
- Contribute to discovery and validation of new product opportunities as the portfolio grows.
