Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and operating production-grade AWS infrastructure in multi-account environments.
- Strong expertise in Terraform and infrastructure-as-code patterns (Terragrunt strongly preferred).
- Proficiency in software engineering with production-quality code in Python, TypeScript, or Bash.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of observability, monitoring, and incident response tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, or OpenTelemetry.
- Experience supporting production databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with SOC2 compliance, audits, and secure infrastructure practices.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and influence engineering standards.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code).
- Experience safely evaluating and operationalizing AI-generated code in production settings.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve cloud infrastructure and platform systems across multi-account AWS environments.
- Design and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines for safe, automated releases.
- Build internal platform tooling to improve developer experience and reduce operational overhead.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability systems to improve incident response.
- Support compliance and security requirements including SOC2 readiness.
- Lead initiatives to optimize cloud spend and mentor engineers.
