Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or data-focused product development roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL in production environments
- Experience working with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar cloud data warehouses
- Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly Postgres, and data modeling concepts
- Experience building data transformations, analytics workflows, or data-driven applications
- Strong collaboration skills with experience working in cross-functional, product-oriented teams
- Ability to break down complex problems into iterative experiments and validate ideas quickly
- Comfortable working closely with platform engineering teams and influencing technical direction
- Familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to integrate them into development and analytics workflows
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data-driven products that transform complex datasets into actionable insights for end users
- Develop and optimize data transformations and pipelines using Python, SQL, Databricks, and Postgres
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product stakeholders to define hypotheses, prototype solutions, and validate ideas
- Translate analytical requirements into scalable production features and user-facing data applications
- Partner closely with platform engineering teams to define requirements, improve APIs, and enhance data pipeline capabilities
- Evaluate internal and external data sources, helping prioritize and structure new data ingestion and modeling efforts
- Contribute to the full product lifecycle, including experimentation, prototyping, implementation, and iteration
- Provide feedback to platform teams as an internal customer to shape roadmap decisions and system improvements
