Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B media, advertising, or event sales within CPG, retail, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex, multi-platform media deals.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover client needs and translate them into strategic solutions.
  • Experience selling integrated marketing programs including events, digital media, and content sponsorships.
  • Strong proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics platforms, with the ability to manage pipeline and forecast accurately.
  • Understanding of digital media metrics, audience insights, and performance reporting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI tools in the sales process is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead consultative discovery sessions with CPG and retail clients to identify marketing gaps, business challenges, and growth opportunities.
  • Drive net-new business acquisition by independently sourcing, qualifying, and closing new accounts across assigned territories.
  • Develop integrated media solutions spanning events, digital campaigns, custom content, and research-driven programs.
  • Deliver compelling client presentations and proposals to secure high-value sponsorships and marketing partnerships.
  • Manage end-to-end pipeline activity, including forecasting, CRM accuracy, and revenue tracking to ensure consistent performance.
  • Collaborate with internal production and delivery teams to ensure smooth execution and successful program outcomes.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to generate leads, strengthen relationships, and expand market presence (approx. 20% travel).
  • Maintain deep market intelligence on CPG and retail trends, audience positioning, and competitive dynamics.
