Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an Account Director or similar leadership role in a B2B environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in the energy and utilities industry strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing and expanding accounts and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud, Web, Mobile App, and Marketing principles preferred.
  • Ability to support occasional travel (less than 25% of time).
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing energy and utility clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders.
  • Understand clients' business and technical needs to drive customer success.
  • Monitor account performance metrics and perform Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Identify and drive account growth opportunities within the existing client base.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align efforts and support expansion.
  • Present and promote new products and solutions to clients.
  • Anticipate and resolve risks and issues to ensure high retention rates.
