Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, lookups, IF statements, large data sets).
- Understanding of accrual accounting, journal entries, and month-end close processes.
- Ability to analyze financial agreements and ensure compliance.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to reconcile complex data sets.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) preferred.
- Familiarity with procure-to-pay processes or supply chain finance preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close including purchase price variance and cost savings tracking.
- Support the Procurement mid-month financial SNAP.
- Analyze and report on unplanned inbound freight, tariffs, and detention charges.
- Perform budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Conduct assigned financial analysis and reporting.
- Monitor and correct purchase order errors while leading training to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate across company functions to support business goals.
