Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, or related field, or comparable record of sales leadership experience.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience.
  • Experience in access control or the security industry preferred.
  • Experience in SaaS sales preferred.
  • Previous experience building a sales function for a product line is desired.
  • Proven ability to deliver on revenue targets.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with key business leaders to identify growth opportunities and drive new business development.
  • Identify and analyze customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
  • Consult with potential customers to understand their needs and suggest equipment, products, or services.
  • Develop expertise in product offerings to educate the market and articulate the company value proposition.
  • Work with customers to tailor access control solutions and manage transition plans for end users.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop sales presentations and materials.
  • Review and analyze sales and operational data to project targets and identify new markets.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies.
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings.
