Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, or related field, or comparable record of sales leadership experience.
- At least 5 years of sales experience.
- Experience in access control or the security industry preferred.
- Experience in SaaS sales preferred.
- Previous experience building a sales function for a product line is desired.
- Proven ability to deliver on revenue targets.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with key business leaders to identify growth opportunities and drive new business development.
- Identify and analyze customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
- Consult with potential customers to understand their needs and suggest equipment, products, or services.
- Develop expertise in product offerings to educate the market and articulate the company value proposition.
- Work with customers to tailor access control solutions and manage transition plans for end users.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop sales presentations and materials.
- Review and analyze sales and operational data to project targets and identify new markets.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies.
- Represent the company at trade association meetings.
