Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in renewable energy sales.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership position focused on renewable energy technical advisory services.
- Deep knowledge of renewable energy sector, including regulatory, technical, and financial aspects.
- Proven track record in driving engineering and scientific advisory sales.
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience working with senior-level clients.
- Strong business acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and risk evaluation.
- Experience designing or improving business development workflows and documentation systems.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead North American business development and sales strategies to meet revenue and profitability goals.
- Build and sustain senior-level relationships with developers, utilities, investors, and lenders.
- Manage, mentor, and expand a high-performing business development team.
- Direct the creation of engineering and scientific proposals, scopes of work, and contract negotiations.
- Implement and maintain CRM and pipeline reporting processes.
- Collaborate with internal technical, engineering, scientific, and finance teams to ensure accurate scoping and pricing.
- Monitor regulatory and industry trends to inform strategic service development.
