Requirements
- 3-5+ years of benefits administration experience.
- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Benefits, including reporting and vendor EDI feeds.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a closely related field.
- Advanced Excel skills, specifically with pivot tables, data manipulation, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA compliance.
- Experience supporting multi-state populations.
- Proven experience with billing reconciliation, reporting, and auditing.
- Ability to travel as needed, including international travel to the Bahamas.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a New York Gaming License.
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and audit benefits transactions including enrollments, life events, and terminations in Workday.
- Manage monthly carrier billing reconciliation and payment, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Partner with HRIS to validate benefit system configuration and troubleshoot Workday issues.
- Support open enrollment execution, including system validation and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA, including auditing eligibility data for ACA reporting.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for benefits carriers and COBRA vendors.
- Respond to employee questions regarding benefit plans, eligibility, and claims.
- Maintain documentation and audit trails for all benefits processes.
