Requirements
- 8+ years of technical design experience in apparel.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, Technical Design, or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, grading, and pattern corrections.
- Deep knowledge of fabric behavior including stretch, shrinkage, recovery, and wash impact.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Google Drive.
- Experience with tech packs, spec sheets, and sample management.
- Experience in activewear, fleece, knits, lounge, and sleepwear categories preferred.
- PLM systems experience preferred; CLO 3D or AI pattern software experience a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain detailed tech packs including technical flat sketches, construction details, BOMs, measurement specs, and grading.
- Own the fit preparation and execution process, including leading fit sessions and analyzing pattern corrections.
- Submit clear, actionable fit comments to vendors and ensure timely turnaround.
- Review and approve all development and production samples (Proto, Fit, PP, TOP, and bulk).
- Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, and QA to maintain design intent while balancing manufacturability and cost.
- Establish and maintain standardized fit processes and workflows across Women's categories.
- Coordinate wear testing processes and compile feedback to improve product consistency.
