Requirements
- 8+ years of technical design experience in apparel.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, Technical Design, or related field preferred.
- Deep understanding of garment construction, fit, grading, and pattern corrections.
- Strong knowledge of fabric behavior including stretch, shrinkage, recovery, drape, and wash impact.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (required), Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Google Drive.
- Experience with tech packs, spec sheets, grading, and sample management.
- PLM systems experience preferred; CLO 3D or AI pattern software experience a plus.
- Experience in activewear, fleece, knits, lounge, and sleepwear categories preferred.
- Previous experience working in a remote or hybrid environment preferred.
- Detail-obsessed with a commitment to fit accuracy and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Maintain athleisure fit, fabric, and construction standards aligning with brand aesthetic.
- Create and maintain detailed tech packs including flat sketches, BOMs, measurement specs, and grading.
- Own the fit process including sourcing fit models, leading fit sessions, and analyzing fit issues.
- Submit clear, actionable fit comments to domestic and overseas vendors.
- Review and approve Proto, Fit, PP, TOP, and bulk production samples.
- Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Production, and QA teams.
- Coordinate wear testing and track development via WIP reports.
