Requirements

  • High school Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience working at a dealership and/or independent auto repair shop.
  • 1-2 years of knowledge regarding automotive repair procedures, processes, parts, and costs.
  • 1-2 years of proven success in negotiation and problem-solving.
  • Ability to efficiently understand and apply contracts, policies, and procedures.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, agents, dealers, and internal staff.
  • Camera usage required for training and meetings.
  • Experience in ProDemand, Alldata, and Carfax is preferred.
  • Call-center experience is preferred.
  • Powersports experience (motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, personal watercraft) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Adjudicate and authorize claims within dollar-limit authority.
  • Ensure accuracy of coverage information and provide customer clarity.
  • Handle 50-70 inbound calls daily from repair centers and customers.
  • Review and determine claims based on fact scenarios provided via the online portal.
  • Collect and verify diagnostic information from repair facilities.
  • Manage workflow by processing requests in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain metrics and cultivate positive professional relationships.
