Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in accounting, controllership, or finance operations roles.
- End-to-end ownership experience of close and reporting processes.
- Prior experience in web3/crypto companies, exchanges, or crypto-heavy operations.
- Strong technical accounting foundation with IFRS/GAAP-level knowledge.
- Demonstrated experience with multi-entity accounting across multiple jurisdictions.
- Hands-on proficiency with Xero for core accounting.
- Hands-on proficiency with Cryptio for crypto accounting and reconciliation.
- Strong documentation discipline and audit-ready organizational skills.
- Excellent written communication skills for reporting to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to operate in a lean, high-ownership, fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process across all entities.
- Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and FX revaluation.
- Lead end-to-end crypto transaction accounting across wallets, exchanges, and networks.
- Ensure crypto and fiat balances are reconciled with strong audit trails.
- Implement and maintain finance controls and compliance documentation.
- Deliver management-ready reporting including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow.
- Produce burn reporting and spend insights to support budget and forecasting cadences.
