Requirements
- BS/BA college degree or relevant experience.
- Deep proficiency in programming languages including JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with modern web technologies such as React, Node.js, and Tailwind.css.
- Experience with frameworks such as Next.js and Remix.
- Solid grasp of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Extensive experience designing APIs.
- Deep understanding of monorepo management and architectural patterns for scale.
- Proven ability to navigate trade-offs between Developer Experience (DX) and platform-native technologies.
- Experience establishing paved paths and self-service deployment capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple engineering teams and with senior leaders.
- Proactive embrace of AI and modern engineering best practices.
Responsibilities
- Drive engineering innovation across the entire company.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Spearhead research initiatives to explore new tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Guide the approach and execution of a particular team or group of teams.
- Solve arbitrarily complex and critical problems until resolution.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to architect, design, and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Conduct thorough architectural reviews to shape Webflow’s technology stack.
- Mentor and coach other engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning.
